Do You Know Your Customers?

January 16, 2008 — admin (Views: 140)

Do you know your customers?

If you run your own business…or want to start one, you need a plan for success. It begins with understanding and getting to know your customers and where to find them.

Ask yourself…

  • Who are my customers?
  • If you are considering starting a business, ask “who would enjoy use of my products or services?”
  • Are my customers local or would people around the world enjoy my products?
  • What is the age of my typical customer? Their income level?
  • How does my product or service compare to other products?
  • Why should a customer buy from me?

This will help you to define and target who you should try to attract as a customer.

Once you have discovered who your customers are, you can begin to develop marketing strategies to attract clients and keep them. It is harder to sell ice to eskimos, than to people in a hot climate. Knowing who your customers are is one key to success.

The internet is a valuable tool for connecting with friends and family, but potential customers as well. You can attract clients 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. There are tons of effective ways to attract new clients using the internet.

Your Link to Success Talk Show will help you navigate through all the options. Our discussion topics will include successful ways to use the internet to attract new clients, and featured guests who have achieved success using the internet.

SEAN TAYLOR #21 WASHINGTON REDSKINS

November 30, 2007 — Perry (Views: 121)

Hello world on this day I am sad and understanding at the sametime… You see Sean Taylor has passed and although it is probably one of the worst fears his family could have had it is also a full circle of events in his life.. You see Sean Taylor had some off the field issues that I choose to not discuss out of respect for him. Early in his career it looked as if he was following the trend of athletes not knowing how to control themselves just acting foolish however after his trial ended and his girlfriend gave birth to his daughter he was a completely different guy he was a father he understood the importance of everyday. Where as he became more of a leader and his work ethic was like none other. His life had come full circle through God showing him the way. It is so sad for his daughter and family and just goes to show us you have to cherish every single second you have.. If you read my about me I am BIG on doing my business so that working from the comfort of my home is something I can accomplish to be able to spend all my time around my family even if it is doing business I am still with them. I pray that those of you married to the corporate field really look at Sean’s situation and take to heart what cherishing every second of your life really means . It’s not only him Joe Kennedy a 28 year old Major League Baseball pitcher scheduled to be a bestman in a wedding last week got up at 1 or 2 in the morning and collapsed at the door and was pronounced dead a few hours later. It is a sign and it is time for us all to hold ourselves accountable for our life and the time we waste. Everyone who reads this my prayer is that it motivates you to take bigger strides in whatever it is you are doing. Time is so precious and we never know when our time is up so naturally we are racing against the invinsible clock. If you are involved in something that will not give your family an enjoyable future which in other terms is a JOB find a Home based business on the side. Life is too precious to waste time. Imagine if you were to leave this earth tomorrow would you be happy with what you leave as a legacy? I am not only talking to you but also to myself . We are all alike and want the samethings. I pray that all entrepreneurs we all come together and build each other up instead of beating each other down why? because life is too precious ! For the simple fact of never knowing when your time is going to be up we should have an increased sense of urgency within us. To me this is all a sign that we must all pay attention to a message that we must put the foot on the pedal and enjoy our time with our families and friends.

African American Cowboys Saddle Up

August 7, 2006 — admin (Views: 382)

The 21st annual Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo Finals and Rodeo for Kidz Sake is the only black touring show in the United States, visiting 11 cities across the nation, including Atlanta, San Diego and Denver.

The rodeo is named after Bill Pickett, an African-American cowboy who invented “bull doggin’,” a move in which Pickett rode alongside a steer, jumped onto its shoulders and brought it down by digging his feet into the ground. The move is still prominent today in the form of steer wrestling.

The rodeo will ride into the predominantly African-American community of Upper Marlboro, a suburb of Washington, for the sixth year in a row on September 22-23,2006 at The Show Place Arena and Prince George’s Equestrian Center at 14900 Pennsylvania Ave. in Upper Marlboro.
